Fri, 15 December 2006 Okay, we're are up to Day 25. Dennis Gray of 101 Uses For Baby Wipes offered his opinion that in the Day 19 photo, the middle plant, Plant C, appears to be thriving more than the others. I'll agree that it appears to be taller than the other as its stems are long an lanky. However, the other plants appear fuller, which is something that isn't easily discernible in a 2D photo. That said, none of the plants appear to be dying. Anyway, Dennis's observation has been logged. Do you have an comment? Please let us know. In the meantime, please stay tuned. Sat, 9 December 2006 Okay Day 19 and no effect. It has now dawned on me that I've now adopted 6 plants that are going to need continual care... Almost makes me wish that there were casualties, so I've moved the plants closer to the edge of the counter where Caleb eats his breakfast and has been known to knock things over; wishful thinking. Anyway, stay posted. Category: Microwave H2O Exp. -- posted at: 1:44 PM Comments[1] |
Sun, 3 December 2006 Okay, we've almost gone 2 weeks and still no difference between the plants... Other than I think they are growing. Stay posted and let us know if you see any effect. Category: Microwave H2O Exp. -- posted at: 7:02 PM Comments[1] |
Thu, 30 November 2006 Right, finally caught up. This picture was taken this morning, so here are the plants (A-E, from left to right) on Day 10. We're not noticing any differences or changes in the plants, except that they may be growing. If you notice any change, please let us know. And the experiment continues, stay posted. Wed, 29 November 2006 Okay, here are the plants (A-E) on Day 6. Once again, every 3 days the plants are receiving
50 ml of their respective experimental water. Because this is a blind
study we don't know which plant is getting which water. Please let us know if you see any apparent effect of the water on the plants. Alright, stay posted
to this website for updates. Category: Microwave H2O Exp. -- posted at: 9:41 AM Comments[1] |
Wed, 29 November 2006 Okay after a bit of confusion with the water preparation and one of our lab assistants, who shall remain nameless but she knows who she is, we finally got the experiment underway. So here are the plants (A-E) on Day 1. Every 3 days they are receiving 50 ml of their respective experimental water. Because this is a blind study we don't know which plant is getting which water. Therefore, as soon as you see any effect on any of the plants, please let us know and we will determine which water is having an effect. Please stay posted to this website for updates.
